Carlsberg have done some pretty awesome adverts in the past few years, and to keep that theme running, they have come up with this, Probably the best ad in the world. Find the advert in a publication, rip it out, with a few choice folds it will act as a bottle opener. I would love to see this in in UK…

Alternatively print out the ad here and try for yourself.

I love this video from Berg London and Dentsu, it has really got me thinking…how and where would I want to interact with my social media? Having written my dissertation on the ever more penetrative and invasive nature of advertising, this video has reinforced the direction in which I feel the social media world is heading.

I like this stunt by ING Direct in Italy, using real people for their billboards.

Research showed that growth in their online banking business depended largely on their clients’ word of mouth referrals. Human interactive billboards, on walls, buses and specially built stands, featured real clients holding the iconic pumpkin, engaging in dialogue with potential clients passing by.

Awesome guerrilla marketing stunt for the new Mini Cooper Clubman. I don’t like the car, but I love the stunt!

Awesome ambient advertising for Schweppes lemonade. Also love The Inbetweeners music.

This is such a brilliant idea, one of those ones things that I wish I had thought of.

The Coca Cola Village is a special summer experiential event in Israel, in 2010, that harnessed the power of Facebook. Teenagers needed to collect 10 Coca Cola caps each, then gather eight Facebook friends (who also did the same) and then register online through Facebook to gain exclusive entry.

When they got to the Coca Cola Village, they were asked to setup a special wrist band that would securely hold their Facebook login / password to swipe when starting each activity.

Every time you swiped, it instantly updated your status with what you were doing at the event, keeping your friends up to date in real time.

The wrist band also allowed automatic tagging of all the photos taken at the Coca Cola Village. The event held 650 teenagers a day, and with the seamless Facebook integration, they generated 35,000+ posts every day for the three days totaling over 100,000 posts for the event!

So this has just won NMA’s campaign of the month.

Barclays are trying to improve teenagers’ understanding of banking. They want to educate them about direct debits, loans, statements, fraud avoidance and general money management. They’d had some success with an educational board game but needed to reach a wider audience.

As a avid Grand Theft auto player this game immediately appeals to me, and I have been playing it for a few hours this evening.

I enjoyed the explorative nature of the advergame, however can’t help but feel its a touch slow paced. Still it managed to keep my attention (but that isn’t difficult). Have a look and see what you think…

Read about the project here.

Saw this a few weeks back, and I thought it was such a simple yet effective idea. Hit refresh and maybe win a prize, simple as that.

A pedestrian crossing was transformed into a portion of fries for three days in July this year in Zurich, Switzerland, providing an excellent way to connect with passing pedestrians. Awesome ambient campaign that undoubtedly increased sales.

This ‘interview’ with Sylvester Stallone about his new movie Expendables is an excellent YouTube takeover. Granted the destroying element isn’t particluarly new, but t I really like the interview concept.  The integration with the related video’s on the right hand side is rather nice, also check out the the pause button.
