Collective London – Senior Project Manager / Producer: October 2013 – Present
Since joining over four years ago Collective has given me the opportunity to work on a number of very exciting and challenging projects. For almost two years, in my senior role, I have also been the line manager to the junior and mid-weight project managers in the team, which has allowed me to improve my communication skills and give me an insight into different management techniques. I have also won the annual ‘safe pair of hands’ award three times which is voted on by fellow colleagues.
Collective London – Project Manager: May 2011 – October 2013
I worked on a number of different accounts including Honda, BBC, HTC, Callaway and EA. Projects ranged from delivering responsive HTML5 websites, campaigns, Facebook apps, events, microsites, all the way down to website maintenance tasks.
The Centre for Excellence in Media Practice – Producer: July 2008 – May 2011
I worked in a small team of 10 based in Bournemouth Media School, in an outward facing media agency to develop and deliver high quality online resources. These ranged from basic websites to complex online learning tools, delivered with both internal and external resources. As the only producer in the team, I had to create the process, documentation and workflow for the entire business.
I have helped build and design a number of websites for different friends, family and clients, which has helped me to improve and hone my technical skills. Through CEMP I also produced Ed Balls’ Labour leadership campaign website, the template for which has now been adopted for all of his online communication.
